A number of pictures for Russian soldiers in Syria were spread on the social networking sites showing them setting tents in one of the military barracks, which was announced by Russian websites as a new base for the Russians in Syria.
What is distinctive about this picture is that those soldiers were applying one of the most famous quotes about Regime's army which is "the army of slippers", that has many meanings, on top of which is that it's a weak army with no military capability and its soldiers wear "slippers" most of the time which denotes a lack of military discipline and training.
The picture showed most of the Russian soldiers doing their "strategic missions" while wearing plastic "slippers" instead of the military boots which are supposed to be worn during the official working hours or combat missions.
Some social networkers sarcastically wondered how Russia is calling itself a superpower despite the fact that the Russian army is unable to manufacture shoes for its soldiers that are suitable for the weather in Syria. This denotes that the Russian army doesn't differ in mentality from Assad's army and suffers also from a technical deficit and multi-level retardation in its strategic and tactical missile launchers.
It's noteworthy that since entering Syria on the 30th of September 2015, Russia was humiliated many times by the different powers in Syria, on top of which were the rebels who destroyed an MI-17 warplane with a TOW missile which can be considered a huge disgrace in the history of Russian air force, not to mention destroying a number of the legendary T90 tanks.
