Recently, there has been an increase in the number of murders and assassinations of civilians and fighters by unidentified parties.
Baladi News documented several crimes that had taken place over the past few weeks. On Saturday, Ahrar al-Sham declared that it killed an ISIS agent and detained others with an adhesive bomb in their possession.
On Thursday, civilians found the corpse on the civilian Mohammad Sarmani on the side of the road to Hama city. Unidentified armed men also liquidated an artillery operator at the Coastal First division near Bdama of Jisr al-Shugur.
On Friday night, unidentified armed men killed preacher Ibrahim al-Saleh after performing the dawn prayer at the mosque.
On the 15th of this month, residents found the corpse of Bilal Nasser, a 30 years old civilians, after being kidnapped by unidentified people with torture marks on his body. A day before, unidentified armed men kidnapped the commander of the 101 Division of the Free Syrian Army in Joseph town as well as the civilian Abdul Wahhab Mousa.
Residents also found the corpse of Mohammad al-Ta’ta’, a taxi driver from Kafr Nabl, on Kafroma road, who had left for work but never came back.
A car bomb was also found in Maarat al-Nu’man, with the two tortured corpses of Abu Faisal and Kamel al-Shihawi, the fihters at Ahrar al-Sham, inside.
Bearing the imprints of Iran and Assad’s regime, who have agents in the liberated areas, these crimes aim at preventing any state of calm in order to exert pressure on civilians and obtain the green light to storm these areas to uproot the revolution.
