Official reports indicate that the countries involved in the Syrian crisis have begun to take a different path; by curbing their support to the Syrian rebels which has lasted for the past seven years.
The military and strategic expert, Muhammad al-Attar, said in a private interview with Baladi News: "The project that Iran is working on is one of the most dangerous projects that threatens the safety and stability of the middle east as it shares land borders with Arab countries with no limit of its sectarian schemes in the region".
Washington, on the other hand, seems to have moved from fighting through agents to direct fighting with illegal agents, SDF in particular, and the American aims are controlling Deir al-Zor with its water resources along with al-Raqqah with its massive fortune of oil, according to al-Attar.
Regarding the Syrian desert, the US will never allow any regional or international power to control it as it contains what could be the largest reservoir of crude oil and gas in the middle east and that's why it has established its massive airbases in al-Tanef region.
Intelligence reports indicated that Washington has deployed Hemares Missile systems in the Syrian region of al-Tanef, in addition to highly developed new missile batteries and border patrols on the border with Iraq, which means that Washington is absolutely serious in curbing the Iranians, Assad and the Russians, but the aim behind this is not fighting the extremism of these countries, but rather achieving economical gains.
The Russian forces, on the other hand, are confused regarding the rapid developments in the Syrian desert by the American forces, and who observes the Syrian affairs closely, can be fully aware that the Russians use the card of the Iranian sectarian militias, and of Assad's regime whenever they stuck in a difficult situation.
It seems that the Russians will resort to a clandestine political agreement with the Americans in order to gain a share of the Syrian oil from the hands of the American forces who are obviously controlling the scene for the time being.
