Regime forces are launching two parallel battles after signing the "de-escalation" agreement which was resulted from the recent agreement in Astana and though Assad regime has withdrawn most of its forces from the northern regions and launched two grand battles in Daraa and Deir al-Zor in an attempt to force the US to give up one of the regions.
If Washington gave up either of the cities, this means the failure of its policies that concentrate on containing Iran and this can only be realized by besieging Tehran and keep its militias away from the borders of its allies, especially Israel, in order to avoid any future blackmailing attempts.
The local council of Daraa declared in a statement that the city is afflicted due to the bombardment that targets vital and medical facilities. It also called upon the international organizations to assist help to the residents, while the opponent national Syrian coalition praised the steadfastness of the people of Daraa.
A source in the Syrian opposition said to Baladi News that he expects an international agreement between Russia and America to allow the regime to reach the Jordanian borders and open a commercial crossing with Jordan.
On the other hand, a number of representatives for the governorate of Deir al-Zor issued a statement confirming their refusal to the Iranian occupation and stressing that the Free Syrian Army is the only legitimate representative for them that is entitled to rescue the governorate from ISIS.
