After committing atrocious crimes against the Sunnite majority in Syria since the beginning of the uprising in 2011, which caused minorities to abstain from joining the revolution, the violations of Assad’s regime thugs started to affect ethnic and religious minorities.
On Tuesday, an Assad’s regime thug, alongside some of his mates, attacked shops in the Armenian-majority al-Arman neighborhood and beat a number of workers until they almost killed one of them, local sources reported.
After that, the group of thugs blocked the main street of the neighborhood for more than an hour, although it is one of the busiest streets in the city.
Some Assad’s-regime-allied sources reported that the thug, called Medhat Abbas, harassed pedestrians and cursed the Armenian minorities. However, nobody dared to stop him for fear of being shot dead.
The sources added that Abbas frequently annoys the residents by driving at a very high speed in the absence of any action by Assad’s regime authorities.
It is noteworthy that two days ago, a thug in Aleppo shot a child in the head just because he approached the thug’s car asking him to buy a chewing gum from him.
