Palestinian Al-Quds Brigades…Thugs Under the Cover of Palestinian Cause

Baladi News – (Abdul Kareem al-Halabi)

Assad’s regime, in cooperation with a number of Palestinian figures, and particularly the Palestinian engineer and contractor, Mohammad Ahmad Saeed, established Al-Quds Brigade.

Saeed utilized the symbolic name of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) to attract hundreds of Palestinian young men from inside and outside Syria, and particularly Libya, to join the brigade on the pretext of resistance against Israel and through financial benefits.

In the beginning of the Syrian revolution, the brigade was tasked with shooting at demonstrators and arresting the detained everywhere.

With the expansion of its killing and suppression activities, a meeting between General Ahmad Saeed and Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah militia, was held, and it was decided that the brigade should become part of Hezbollah in Syria.

One year after the beginning of the revolution, when it turned into an armed struggle, the number of Al-Quds Brigade fighters grew to 800 thugs who joined the regime in fighting rebels.

The most prominent criminal services provided by the brigade to Assad’s regime and Iran is the capture of more than 4,000 wanted young men, including 420 Palestinians, and the extradition of them to the regime.

The brigade also reclaimed Al-Kindi hospital in Aleppo, broke the 16-months siege on Aleppo prison, occupied Handarat camp, and captured al-Sheikh Saeed factory in cooperation with the regime and the Russians.

The brigade has also had a long history of looting the houses and shops of civilians who refused to fight alongside Assad’s regime, particularly in Handarat and al-Nayrab.

The brigade is one of the most dangerous death arms in Syria. It has had a black record of killing 620 Syrian citizens and wounding 200 others since the beginning of the Syrian revolution, which made it reliable militia for Assad’s regime.
