Media sources confirmed that the Syrian regime has embezzled more than 400 million SYP from Syrian farmers since December 2015, aiming at strengthening the Russian economy and revitalizing it with Syrian vegetables and fruit.
Pro-regime media sources said that the "Syrian-Russian" village, that has been built by Russians late 2015 in order to export the Syrian products from vegetables and fruit to Moscow, didn't pay any of the financial amounts due to be settled, which exceeded 400 million SYP (approximately $800,000).
On the other hand, the Russian markets are flourishing with the finest types of vegetables and Syrian local products, including tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, potatoes and pepper. The regime is adopting this policy in order to gain Russian missiles and use them against the Syrian people in exchange for serving the Russian citizen and supporting Moscow's collapsed economy.
Director of "ADIG YURAK" company (Aslan Panesh) said that Moscow is awaiting the arrival of 12 containers of fruit (peaches, apricots and cherries ) with a capacity of 240 tons to the Russian ports coming from Syrian ports, adding that "the company hopes to import about six thousand tons of fruit and vegetables from Syria by the end of this summer".
Exporting Syrian fruit and vegetables to Russia comes in light of the increasing prices of products in the Syrian local markets, as one kilogram of tomatoes has reached more than 400 SYP, while other vegetables like potatoes and eggplants have reached 500-400 SYP, according to pro-regime media sources.
