The final demarcation of the new map of Syria has almost been completed with a lot of developments taking place on the Syrian territories.
Recently, the United States escalated its rhetoric against Assad’s regime and the supporting militias. The escalation was followed by a strike on Shayrat airbase last April and another warning strike against a military convoy heading towards al-Tanf crossing border used by the international coalition forces as a semi-headquarter.
Not only did Iran neglect the American warnings, but it also pushed Iraqi Mobilization troops towards the Syrian borders from the east. Iran also expressed its desire to send 3000 Hezbollah militants to control the Syrian-Iraqi borders.
Syrian political activist, Hamad Shihab al-Talla’, said, “All that taking place in Syria is accurately pre-planned by the United States,” adding that the United States finished the phase of ending any presence of both the Free Syrian Army and Assad’s regime army in the east of the Euphrates River using ISIS and the Kurdish YPG forces.”
The next phase, according to the speaker, “is the final demarcation of the area by granting a land corridor between Iran and to the would-be Alawite state in the area between Abu Kamal and al-Shaddadi.”
Al-Talla’ clarified that Deir Ez-Zour province would be dismembered into three areas; the desert in the west of Euphrates River, Abu Kamal, and Mayadin, which would be handed over to Arab United-States-backed forces and later to a federation under the jurisdiction of Jordan, and Deir Ez-Zour city and the area among al-Basira, al-Sour, and al-Shaddadi, to be granted to the regime forces and the Shiite Mobilization, whereas the western part of the province would be given to Syria’s Democratic Forces as a prelude to the establishment of a Kurdish State.
