Assad’s regime helicopters have dropped leaflets on Homs northern countryside over the past couple of days. The leaflets, which implied menacing due to enclosed photos of destruction in Homs, Darayya, Aleppo, and others, demanded the rebels to surrender and return to the “embrace” of the homeland.
Ahmad Orabi, media activist, said “these leaflets are merely a kind of psychological warfare practiced by the regime against liberated areas,” adding that “the regime is unable to move an inch without the approval of Russia after the Syrian case turned into an international affair.”
Commanders of the Free Syrian Army in Homs countryside pledged to fight to the last drop of blood and reassured civilians that there would not be any forced displacement in the area.
It is noteworthy that Assad’s regime forces made attempts to advance on the fronts of Homs northern countryside, but they all failed, and the regime incurred heavy losses, including the death of the commander of the military campaign on Teir Maalah, General Maen Deeb on 15/10/2015.
