Baladi News – Homs (Osama Abu Zaid)
Assad’s Regime forces stormed al-Waer neighborhood of Homs and started inspecting and searching both inhabited and uninhabited houses. Five people named Tammam al-Agha, Abdul Sattar al-Saqqa, Fahd Sheikh Al-Souq, Kan’an Safi, and Rabie al-Tellawi were arrested and taken to an unknown destination according to eye witnesses.
The witnesses added that the regime soldiers stormed most of the inhabited houses and broke the doors of the uninhabited ones.
This happened despite the fact that the negotiation committee of the neighborhood had been promised that all civilians who stay would not be harmed by the regime forces. However, looting houses and arresting civilians today emphasizes that the regime’ promises were fake.
It is noteworthy that al-Waer have been looted and plundered by the thugs from al-Mazra’a village along the past two days. Some of the thugs blocked Homs-Tartous road, protesting against not allowing them to continue their theft.
