Syrian journalists and activists shared on Tuesday images of a person who was said to be "Muhammad Makhlouf", the son of Assad's cousin (Rami Makhlouf).
The images showed Muhammad exercising while accompanied by a number of cars full of his special security guards, while another image showed him driving a very luxurious sports car.
Syrian on the social networking sites commented on the images by making fun of the way in which Assad's regime and its figures are dealing with their supporters and the lifestyle of the families of Assad, Makhlouf and other families in Assad's inner circle.
Many photos of Assad's children and his brother's daughters have spread previously showing how they live a normal life and visit resorts, while 150,000 Alawite militants were killed in Assad's war against Syrians, according to the Italian News Agency (AKI), not to mention the militants from other sects who were killed while fighting alongside Assad's regime. Those militants seem to be killed to keep the families of Assad and Makhlouf and others living their luxurious lifestyle, while Assad's supporters are sent to the fronts to fight their fellow Syrians who demanded freedom and social justice.
