At least 22 people, including children, were killed and 59 others were wounded in a suicide attack that hit Manchester Arena on Monday night during a concert in which the American pop singer Ariana Grande had been performing.
As usual, ISIS claimed the responsibility for the attack in a statement on Instagram.
ISIS also announced its responsibility for two other explosions that hit on Tuesday Homs and Damascus.
The explosions were synchronized with massive withdrawals of ISIS troops from Homs Desert, where the regime and Iran seek to control Damascus-Baghdad road, and from Aleppo eastern countryside, where the regime forces became one step away from Maskaneh city, one of ISIS strongholds in Aleppo countryside.
Claiming the responsibility of Manchester’s by ISIS was not surprising for Syrian politicians and activists, which appeared to expose ISIS schemes at very critical moments for Assad’s regime and Iran.
The bombings, which had strong reverberations in most of the world states, appear, according to Syrian analyst, to send a message that the Sunnite Islam, which ISIS claims to represent, is the only group blamed for terrorism in the world. However, the truth is that the attack was a response to the crimination of Iran during the Islamic-American summit.
These massive efforts by ISIS are accompanied by significant withdrawal of ISIS in the Syrian Desert, where massive battles are taking place between Assad’s regime and Iran on the one hand and the Free Syrian Army on the other.
