A blast hit the headquarter of Ahrar al-Sham group in Tal al-Toufan area of Aleppo eastern countryside on Sunday, killing and wounding dozens during a meeting of one of the group’s brigades.
In a statement of which Baladi News obtained a copy, the group held ISIS responsible for the explosion that killed more than 20 and wounded 40 others.
The statement clarified that “an ISIS militant parked a booby-trapped bike in the middle of a crowd of fighters, and then detonated the bike and himself simultaneously.”
The group clarified that it is ISIS is an enemy of the Syrian revolution and people, and that the attack comes as part of the continued targeting of the rebels factions.
