Through its sectarian militias, Iran imposes its control over the pro-regime villages in the northern countryside of Homs south of Talbiseh city as they position in the villages of al-Kam, al-Mukhtaria, al-Najmah, Kafrabd and other villages with Shiite majority. Those militias are affiliated to "al-Rida Brigade" which is directly supported by Iran, the thing that makes the imposition of the de-escalation agreement in the region impossible as Iran, which is the guarantor, is deploying its militias in the region and participating in the war alongside Assad's regime.
Colonel "Omer al-Mulhem", the military commander of Jaysh al-Tawhieed" said: "We refused the articles of the de-escalation agreement in Astana, especially that Iran is part of the agreement and without it Assad regime would have fallen a long time ago".
He pointed out that the Iranian militias didn’t comply with the cease-fire truce and bombarded the civilians in a provocative way, so it's our right to respond.
The colonel also noted that the countries who seek a solution in Syria must put an end to Iran through its immediate exit of the country along with getting rid of Assad as no truce is possible while he is in power.
