A jet fighter belonged to Hmeimim airbase carried out three successive airstrikes against the newly established Turkish observation post in southeastern Idlib, Tuesday, Feb. 11, Baladi News correspondent reported.
As a result of the airstrikes, a major fire erupted in the observation post, several Turkish soldiers were injured and many Turkish military vehicles were destroyed, according to the correspondent.
This is a clear indication that tensions between Russia and Turkey have increased after Turkey killed scores of the regime forces in retaliation for targeting its observation posts by Assad regime forces and killing several Turkish soldiers.
