Russian and Assad forces have unprecedentedly escalated their ground and air offensive on Aleppo's western countryside, where they carried out more than 100 strikes since the morning of Wednesday.
In the details, Baladi News correspondent said that Russian warplanes fired more than 50 missiles on the areas of al-Mansoura and al-Rashideen in the western countryside of Aleppo, causing massive destruction in the buildings.
Meanwhile, Assad warplanes model Su-22, Su-24, Mig-21 and Mig-23 carried out more than 50 airstrikes on the villages of Bshantara, Bashkateen, Khan Toman and outskirts of al-Atareb city in Aleppo's countryside, Baladi correspondent added.
The helicopters of the Assad regime dropped dozens of barrel bombs on the western and northern countryside of Aleppo, according to Baladi correspondent.
The correspondent pointed out that two women were killed by the Russian bombardment which targeted the city of al-Atareb on Wednesday morning.
