Syria's Response Coordinators Group confirmed Sunday that tens of thousands of civilians have been displaced recently from the southern countryside of Idlib following the military escalation of Assad regime and Russian forces, which led to the death of hundreds of civilians.
The group documented the exodus of 38,915 families (203,709 people) from 33 areas south of Idlib since November 1, till December 21.
It added that the military campaign of Assad-Russia alliance killed 225 civilians, including 74 children and a girl since the beginning of last month until yesterday.
The team has warned that the military operations will lead to refugees influx, as the camps on the Syrian-Turkish border have reached their maximum capacity.
