"The FBI officers who have arrived recently in eastern Syria are investigating the ISIS fighters, the foreign ones in particular," a source in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said.
A U.S. special force has entered the Syrian territories last Thursday, through Iraqi Kurdistan province, following receiving an information which says that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is still in the last ISIS pocket in Deir Ezzor.
Several media sources reported that the U.S. special force is the same one which was assigned to pursue the leader of al-Qaeda "Osama Bin Laden" and eliminated him in 2011, in the town of Abbotabad, northeast Pakistan.
In a similar context, sporadic clashes are taking place between ISIS fighters and SDF in the town of Baghouz; last ISIS stronghold east of Euphrates, the Kurdish news website Basnews quoted a source without naming it.
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have slowed their offensive on the jihadist enclave at Baghouz near the Iraqi border to allow many thousands of people to leave, accusing ISIS of using civilians as human shields.
