The Israeli satellite company, revealed on Tuesday evening, January 22nd, live satellite images for Iranian positions in the vicinity of Damascus International Airport, two days after being targeted by Israeli airstrikes which destroyed weapons and ammunition depots, as well as a Russian made air defense base.
The images showed Iranian militia depots at Damascus International Airport after being totally destroyed as a result of the Israeli airstrikes. It also showed positions around the airport where a Russian-made radar and air defense base were targeted.
The Israeli army announced it targeted, at the dawn on Monday, positions of the militia of the Quds Force which is linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Syria.
In a statement, the Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adre'i warned Assad's regime of trying to target "Israeli" territories or to respond to the Israeli airstrikes.
