A statistic published by Palestinian organization involves in the affairs of Palestinian in Syria revealed that more than 150 thousand Palestinian refugees have fled Syria during the war waged by the Syrian regime against civilians.
The "Action Group for Palestinians of Syria" said that this number is out of 650 thousand Palestinians who were living in Syria before the war, and that around 410 thousand remained in Syria, while more than 60% of the Palestinians were displaced for at least one time.
Until the end of 2016 more than 85 thousand Palestinians arrived in EU states, the statistic said, where in Lebanon the number of Palestinians is estimated to be 31 thousand, while 17 thousands are in Jordan, 6 thousands in Egypt, 8 thousands in Turkey, and one thousand Syrian Palestinians are in Gaza.
It's noteworthy that thousands of Palestinians are waiting the opportunity to reach EU, in order to escape the ongoing war in Syria, and to their suffering in the neighboring countries. On the other hand the Action group documented the drowning of 50 Palestinians during attempts to reach EU.
