Media sources close to the Syrian regime quoted from, Yusuf Jarboa, one of Suwaidaa sheikhs said that Russian forces will take the responsibility of negotiating ISIS to release women kidnapped by ISIS for more than a week, Qasioun Agency reported.
This came after the failure of negotiations between a committee composed of representatives of the province of Suwaidaa, a delegation from the Syrian regime on the one hand, and ISIS on the other.
Jarboa said "The Russian side is negotiating with the Syrian government, and ISIS plans to kidnap hostages in order to press on the Syrian state to achieve certain demands"
In the first negotiations held last Tuesday, the regime's delegation rejected ISIS conditions, which includes "the release of prisoners of women and men from the Syrian prisons and the cessation of the military campaign on the Yarmouk basin in the first place."
Conditions also includes the withdrawal of Syrian regime from Suwaidaa and no one from Suwaidaa to join Syrian regime front-lines in its battles and prevent using Suwaidaa lands in the battles against ISIS, but negotiations failed.
The number of kidnapped was 21 women and eight children. The Syrian regime government did not issue any statements about negotiating with ISIS.
