Media sources reported that negotiations are likely to resume with the Jordanian mediation, in order to reach a cease-fire agreement in the province of Daraa.
Khaled al-Mahameed, the deputy of the Negotiations Body's Chairman said that the Russians have made concessions in their conditions for the opposition's delegation regarding the cease-fire in the Syrian South, according to the media sources.
Al-Mahameed added that the negotiations will be resumed in the following few hours. He signaled that it will be brokered by Jordan, in order to guarantee the re-implementation of the de-escalation agreement, and the implementation of a comprehensive cease-fire in the Syrian south, after a day clashes with the regime forces backed by Russia's airforce, following the failure of previous rounds of the negotiations, and rejecting the Russian conditions by the opposition delegation.
In this context, the Central Operations Room has issued a statement in which it confirmed its endorsement for resuming the negotiations with the Russian delegation, however, it believes that resistance would have bigger positive effect than surrender.
