Baladi News - Daraa
The Local council run by the Syrian opposition in Daraa province declared on Saturday the eastern countryside of Daraa city as an afflicted area due to the wide military escalation carried out by the Syrian regime forces and their backing up militias.
" The regime forces and its militias, with its intensified shelling on our cities and villages in the eastern countryside of Daraa, aim to pressure the public support of the Free Army," activist "Hazem Ahmed" from the countryside of Daraa said to Baladi News.
Ahmed pointed out that the statement issued by the local councils aims to she the light on the suffering of the civilians remaining in the areas targeted by the regime, as well as the suffering of those who escapes the shelling of the regime to sleep in the open.
