Local media sources reported that the elements of the regime forces prevented, on Tuesday, medical staff and civilians to recover the bodies of victims killed by regime's shelling, which are trapped under the rubble in Yarmouk camp south of Damascus, except in the case of family kinship.
In the same context, Palestinian activists appealed, through social media websites, to the "Palestinian Liberation Organization" and the Palestinian factions close to the Assad regime, to pressure the regime politically, to allow recovering the bodies of the unknown victims trapped under the rubble in the Yarmouk camp, after the refusal of recovering them and preventing the people of Yarmouk from reaching them.
Activists added that a strong foul smell is coming from the bodies of the victims trapped in the shelter of UNRWA's "Youth Support" center in Al-Madares Street in the center of Yarmouk camp. The same odor can be smelled along Al-Thalatheen Street near the Palestine Hospital in the center of the neighborhood.
The southern neighborhoods of Damascus had witnessed earlier an unprecedented military escalation by the regime forces and militias loyal to them, ended with the displacement of all fighters of the opposition factions with their families from the area to the north of Syria. The agreement, similar to the eastern Ghouta's one, stated the deployment of the Russian police in the area for 6 months.
