The Romania Insider quoted Sputnik that Hafez al-Assad, the son of Bashar al-Assad, will go to Romania in July to participate in the International Math Olympiad that will be organized in the city of Cluj-Napoca.
Local authorities told NewsTeam agency that they are prepared to ensure the security of Hafez al-Assad, who will be guarded by bodyguards during his stay in Romania, according to Romania Insider.
It's worthy noting that since March 2011 Bashar al-Assad has killed more than 500,000 civilian, including more than 30,000 Syrian children and displaced millions of Syrians.
Moreover, there are 1,500,000 Syrian children refugees in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey, where at least half of them o not have access to formal education.
