He did not hesitate to kill the children, women and the elderly, neither did he hesitate to use his chemical weapons in order to annihilate the people of his country, and displace millions of them. However, in a disgusting propaganda, Assad tried to show his humanity towards the stray cats, where his regime announced the opening of the first shelter for the stray cats, in the Public Park at the center of Aleppo, which is under his control.
This fake attempt might be well received by his supporters, after he lost his humanity and tried to cover that by taking care of stray cats, and preparing good shelter for them. But this step came in conjunction with the displacing of thousands of people from Eastern Ghouta and the countrysides of Homs and Hama. The very same displaced people were previously targets for his rockets and machinery guns.
Observers see the step as an attempt to show the Syrian Tyrant as a human, and to cover the atrocities committed by his regime against the Syrian people, where tens of thousands of people were forcibly taken to the Syrian North, amid a massive population in that region.
It's note worthy that the city of Aleppo was seiged by the Assad regime in 2016, and the seige lasted for about one year, where more than 200 were deprived of the basic needs for living, and where his artillery and warplanes destroyed more that 65% of the infrastructure in the eastern part of the city.
