The regime forces hit the city of Douma in Eastern Ghouta with barrel bombs containing toxic gas in the evening of Saturday, causing 150 deaths by suffocation and more than 1000 injuries, most of whom are women and children according to local and medical sources, and the National Defence Organization backed by the USA.
The photos posted by activists show the victims suffocated in cellars, unlike the photos of previous chemical massacres, and this proves that the photos are very recent and not fabricated, in addition to the photos and videos of suffocated people with foam out of their mouths and other symptoms that prove the use of chemical weapon, let alone the confirmations of the medical sources there.
The office manager of the Iranian channel AlAlam TV Hussain Murtada anticipated the massacre and disclosed openly the regime's delibrated intention for targeting Douma with chemical weapons, hours before the attack, when he said in a recorded video he posted on social media that the big attack has not started yet, and it's bigger than a land offensive, "what they will see can never be expected."
Murtada literally said: "So they won't be surprised with what they will see, it's much bigger than land offensive, they will feel something very strong."
What really alerts is the timing of targeting Douma with the chemical weapons, exactly a year after the American strike on Shayrat airbase, following the chemical crime committed by Assad's aircrafts in Khan Shaykhun last year, in a blatant challenge for the international will.
