A commander in al-Rahman Legion active in Jobar confirmed that the preparation for Damascus battle "O Servants Of Allah, Stand Fast" took 6 months and it was launched concurrently with the 6th anniversary of the Syrian revolution.
The lieutenant commander Hamza Qaziz, said that the preparations included providing the ammunition and the logistics, pointing out that this took a long time due to the besiegement imposed on the eastern Ghouta for 4 years.
Qaziz also stated that we will surprise the world by actions not by words and this will be proved in the battlefield, stressing that the preparations are still in full swing.
He went on saying: "Our main focus in this battle is realizing the goals of the Syrian revolution and our only concern is our people inside the country". He also addressed the Syrians all over the word saying: "The rebels are your fathers and brothers who will spare no effort to defend their fellow Syrians. We want you to know that our only goal is overthrowing Assad's regime in order to allow the Syrians to enjoy their freedom and independent decisions".
It's worth mentioning that the battle of "O Servants Of Allah, Stand Fast" that was launched two days ago by the rebel factions has managed to seize control over strategic regions in Damascus and inflicted huge losses on the regime.
